I am thinking of you and your family, Billy. Your mother was the best! I fondly remember her, the Georgia Grille, and you, Billy working there. I hope you have a thriving law practice somewhere. I will miss your mom. Much love. Judy

I´m so sad to read the news about Karen´s passing. She was an absolute force and such a creative and talented chef. I enjoyed mini a meal at Georgia Grille, and Toulouse. Karen was welcoming and warm and no nonsense. I loved her million dollar smile and her boots! She was a great cheerleader, and I enjoyed my time with her in Les Dames. My condolences to Billy and family.

I had the pleasure to taste with and sell so many wines to Karen over the years in Atlanta. She was such a kind soul and as authentic as they ever come. She loved her friends beyond measure and it surely always showed. RIP Karen, you will never be forgotten by the Atlanta restaurant community.

I am one of Karen's customer/friend/long-time admirer/student from Odessa TX when she & Riley Williams had Peach's Cafe. She catered our small wedding in 1983. She and Olivia Hill taught me how to cook beginning in 1984 when she conducted cooking classes at Peach's and/or in Olivia's home. I bake a soufflé at least once a month because she taught me it wasn't that intimidating to do. I still use the recipes from their cooking classes--typed on Kitchen Country letterhead or Olivia's...
