Not sure what to say?

My heart-felt condolences to Dr. Hundemer´s family. She was the best doctor I ever had and I was so upset when I moved away from Maryland and had to find another. Her compassion and kindness were amazing.

She was my GP while I lived in Frederick. I always trusted her and she made me feel heard and cared for. I now live in Arizona and I work as a Standardized Patient. I try to teach medical practitioners from all disciplines how to treat patients as real people. That's what Dr. Hundemer always did. I still haven't found any care provider who holds a candle to her.

Karen was a dear friend and classmate in med school. After graduation we all scattered to the four winds. She was a wonderful person I´m sure she was a kind and caring physician.

I am so sorry to read this. I had heard that she was sick again and felt so bad because she had just retired. Dr. Hundemer was the best GP I´ve ever had. She listened, we talked and was overall just the best. I was thrilled when I started seeing her over 10 years ago. I talked to her many times through Covid, I was declining and she told me to call 911, Off I went to FMH and was there for a week! I just couldn´t believe she was dealing with her own medical challenges while working...

She was the sweetest GP. My husband and I were her patients for quite a while. Dr. Hundemer was so funny we would discuss quilting and gardening first then the reason for my visit. Sending our thoughts and prayers to the family.

She was my GP for years as a teen to adulthood and then for my children. She was such an amazing physician and always took the time to speak to her patients and get to know them. I was so excited for her when she retired to spend more time with her family as much as I would miss seeing her. She had a huge impact on her patients and will be missed.

I Met Doctor Hundermer 13 years ago. She was an amazing doctor, friend , adviser....There is a big party in heaven now, an angel went back. RIP my friend! My condolences to the family.

What a wonderful comforting soul. She set the standard for kind medical care. Rest in peace Dr Hundemer.

Dr. Hundemer was my physician for about 20 years. She felt more like a friend than my doctor. She was a wonderful person and I am so very sorry for your loss. My daughter has worked with the study of ALS as a Scientist at Ft. Detrick and I am so very sorry to hear of her struggles. Sending you and the family lots of Love and light for your loss of a wonderful woman who will be missed by so many.
