To the family of Karen I had the pleasure of seeing your mom last year and visiting her beautiful home and her "flowers" on the hill. She shared alot of letters from her students that wrote what a great teacher she was and how they had inspired them. We all knew what a great person she was as we had all gone through school with her and her laughter. She will be missed!!! Kay(Hamstra)Herr

I had never met Ms.Kern but I admired her flower garden every day as I drove by. I knew something was wrong when I didn't see her out in the yard working...my heart sank when I read that she passed away. My sympathy, thoughts & prayers are with her family. Jeri A-North Muskegon.
