Karen and I became close friends, sharing laughs and tears and our love of baseball. Her passing has left a void that is difficult to accept. Her kindness, positive influence, and optimism will remain in my memory and she will always have a place in my heart. My sincere condolences go out to her family. Karen, I will not say goodbye to you, I will only say until we meet again!

Karen was a wonderful person and a excellent care giver. She cared for her patient's at MaryMount and gave excellent care. I met her at MaryMount when I was the new chaplain and she made me feel welcome right the first day. I am saddened by her death and offer my utmost sympathy and condolences to her family. It was a privilege to know her. With sincere prayers for her family, Sr. JoAnn
