To all who mourn the loss of Karen. . What a legacy and what a lady gone far too soon. Comfort to you all.

Sorry for the loss of a dear family member of my friend Chuck K.

Karen was a great teacher and lovely lady. Sincere condolences to her family and friends.

It is with great sadness to hear of Karen´s passing... She was one of my most valued and loved colleagues as we both taught together in the North Tonawanda School District. We first teamed together as Gifted Programming Teachers and we were such a cohesive group which turned also into many years of friendship that followed. I will always remember Karen as one of the kindest... sweetest...talented and most loving person. We both shared our love for family and teaching. Our conversations...

I first met Karen when she volunteered on an advisory committee for Gifted education in the North Tonawanda School District She stood out as a valuable member of the team who then became one of the finest teachers in the system. But more importantly, she became a friend. Her friendship was a precious gift that I will always cherish. Our conversations always centered on her love for Bill, her parents, her children and grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by all of us.

I worked with Karen for many years in North Tonawanda. I have such fond memories of her. She always looked absolutely perfect. Such a warm, caring human being and a fabulous teacher. May the memories you have of the great times with her sustain you.

She was the best social studies teacher I had at Ken West. She knew and worked with her students. She was friendly and approachable and helpful. When I think of teachers I had in my lifetime, she is always at top of list.

I remember driving over to Ohio to show Karen Denison University, where she ultimately ended up attending. My memories of Karen are nothing short of fond.
