Not sure what to say?

For some reason I thought of Karen today- I worked with Karen at UH StonyBrook when she got pregnant with the quads- I remember visiting her when they put her on bedrest, rip, beautiful Karen and the stories after the babies were born- her ICU skills came in handy- she was SO happy

I am so sorry and saddend to hear about Karens passing we worked together many years ago at 3 village W.H. she was always so kind and positive and just plane welcoming. Im sending my well wishes to her kids, and family.

Sep. 2020. So it is as we have long felt, how sad. My wife Anne and I got to know Karen Aug. 1989 so it was Chris who brought us - two naive newlyweds on a 1-yr stipend to SUNY - one evening home from meeting us, quite lost, at the train station to stay for a few days until we got things settled. We became friends and babysat a couple of times and I was able to visit a few times over the next years. The picture is from the last visit (2002?)
Witnessing her with the children - so much...

I learned today of Karen's passing when I made my appointment. When I went for my check up last year they told me she was on leave, but I had no idea why, so I thought she might be back. I am so shocked--she was my NP since before I even had my daughter--and then she took care of me during that pregnancy 14 years ago. I am so so sad, she was a wonderful person. My heart goes out to her family.

So sorry to hear of Karen's passing. She was a great listener and always put her patients at ease. My last visit with her she insisted I see the doctor, and saved my life. Without her persistence my cancer I may not have sought the help I needed. Thank you Karen, for all you did over the years. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I was told last summer that Karen was on a personal leave when I went for a check up. I plan on another yearly check up and in looking for contact info, I find this! Karen has been my gyno forever it seems. When my daughter had some feminine issues, she was there for her; friendly and supportive...a real heart for her patients. How shocked and saddened I am for her loss. I pray for the strength of her family to carry on the legacy of Karen's passion of unconditional love and support for...

I found out about Karen's passing like so many of her other patients when I called to make my yearly appt. And like so many I am saddened and shocked of her passing. I have read several entries in this guest book and want her family to have comfort in their hearts that their mom was so loved. God Bless.

I have been a patient of Karen's since she began her career. I am absolutely devastated and shocked. Karen had an infectious smile and a comforting soul. My prayers go out to her family and especially her children, your mom was so proud of you all. Always stay strong together.

Heartbroken and thinking of you today, Karen.
