Bill and the entire Lott family, We were sad to read of the death of Karen. Her love of people and her love for her church motivated her to be a faithful participant as a leader within the congregation. I admired Karen´s focus on listening to each voice while attempting to chart a course forward that honored the past and moving into the future. Her wisdom and careful attention to detail was a gift to the Leadership Council (which she chaired when I arrived as pastor), being a member of...

My deepest condolences are with Karen´s family and friends. During the time I worked with Karen in FHPS, I knew her as a leader with deep expertise and who exemplified integrity and grace. I feel fortunate to have experienced her mentorship and guidance.

My heartfelt sympathies to the Lott family. I had the wonderful opportunity to become to know, work with and deeply respect Karen at Forest Hills Public Schools. She was a very beautiful and special person and will be sorely missed! My prayers and thoughts are with Karen´s family!

Karen was my boss for many years, she was a very special, boss and friend. She always was caring and supportive. I can't even imagine FHPS with out her, she sure will be missed by me and everyone who knew her.

It was such a pleasure, knowing Karen at Forest Hills public schools. She was a very special lady. My prayers and blessings go to your family..
