Not sure what to say?

Love you sister.I think of you often and remember all the times with you as kids. You were always so upbeat and joking with everyone even when you were so sick you could barely function.I hope to be with Mom ,Dad,Tom,and you in Heaven. Please look out for us sister.I love you

I often think of Karen, always with love, cherished memories, and a huge sense of loss. Karen was THE HEART of Fern Creek Elementary. She and I worked together many years and often teamed on projects. I could always depend on Karen and she could always depend on me. It seems impossible that 6 years have passed since Karen walked our hallways. I continue to miss her and her amazing heart. Gods Kingdom is surely blessed with her presence, those left behind continue to cherish and honor her...

Your memorial service is this morning. I am planning to attend. I will try not to cry, but I know the tears will flow. My tears are for the love we shared. I know you wouldn't want me to cry, but my heart is hurting with your loss. I will cherish your memory always.

I've been teaching for 23 years and Mrs. Matta was my 1st & still remains my absolute ALL TIME FAVORITE ROOM MOTHER:-) Extra special love & prayers to Mr. Matta, to "my favorite student - Angela", to Laura, & to the rest of her beloved family. I'm praying for you all during this time of intense bereavement! I learned so much about parenting from Mrs. Matta! She loved her family with all her heart...while still taking the time to make others feel special & loved as well. OXOXO forever:-)...

Our Thoughts And Prayer Are With You. Karen Thank You,
You Did Good.

My husband Kevin Bell was the DARE officer at Fern Creek and I was the School Social Worker there also. Karen made us feel so welcome with her warm spirit. She will be daerly missed. Family of Karen please know that she really loved you. She spoke of you all the time.

First I would like to give honor to God for giving her to us for 57 years. It was a blessing to know her, her prescence, her conversation, her laughter and her love will truly be missed. The love she has showed has never gone unnoticed. Her smile will always be there, when the wind blow think of her sneaking a touch. She will always remain in our hearts forever more.I will continue to pray for you all and may God keep you safe in his arms through this difficult time.

Karen was a special person. It was a joy to have worked with her and the Fern Creek Elementary School staff. She will be sadly missed. God always know how much we can bear. Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Praying always for the family. Her JCPS co-worker,
