Our lives have been greatly blessed because of our association with Karen, her late husband Ed, and the entire Mayne family. Words cannot express the love and support Karen and her family have given us. Karen's life was one of service, kindness, and a determination to help those in need. Utah has lost a precious public servant, but we have faith that others are ready to step in and further the causes that Karen has championed in her effort to make Utah a better and more humane place for...

Karen was the a great public servant and even a greater friend. I first met both she and Ed when I was the football coach at Hunter High. They were great advocates for public education and young people. Karen was an outstanding legislator who was always looking out for the less fortunate . She will be sorely missed. May the Lord comfort the Mayne family at this tough time

To this day I remember her impactful and important remarks when the affordable health care team came to Sugar House Park.

My deep condolences to her family and colleges. I never had the opportunity to meet Mrs. Mayne, but I have the highest regard for all the hard work she did in the community. She is absolutely one in a million.
