Not sure what to say?

Karen - the girl in first grade with the skinned knees - even in the group first grade picture! Karen was one of my bridesmaids, and she was late to my bridesmaid's luncheon! Over the past 4 years, Karen reminded me to keep praying for a miracle. God did answer her prayer. He gave her the fight to stay with us longer than anyone thought possible. He made Karen the miracle for all those around her whose lives she touched. She was courageous, beautiful, and loved life. I thank God for the...

Dear Frank,
I was so very sorry to read about Karen. You may or may not know that Tom Hodge tried to hire Karen many, many times. He thought that she was exceptionally gifted in the real estate business (and he was very particular). I regret your great loss. Please send my regards to your father. I will never forget Karen's ability to make a room roar.
Sincerely,
Cheryl

Karen and I worked together when I came to Dallas to re-develop a shopping center. She was great. She always saw the good in people, and always made me laugh. Life was an adventure for her, and we were the players with her. She always asked me why I lived in Chattanooga, but she never made me feel "small town". She was truly an inspiration in the way she lived her life. Kendal, you were the most important thing in her life, and I hope you know that. Karen brought many new friends into my life,...

Karen and I attended, and graduated from Eastern Hills High School together. When I moved there as a junior, she was one of the first to reach out with a smile, and make an effort to be a friend. I will always be grateful to her for that kindness.
One of my fondest memories of Karen is when we were "Lad and Lassie" at EHHS one month. We had a blast taking the picture for the school paper. She was a hoot.
I never had the chance to meet her family, but know they were blessed by...

I met Karen through Jody Kelly, and every time she came to San Antonio there was never a dull moment. She had so much energy she was hard to keep up with. One New Years' Eve I was so tired, and Jody and her wouldn't let me go home. I finally convinced them I had to go drop my dad off, but I'd be right back. They said if I didn't come, my house would get wrapped[toilet papered].Needless to say we had a mess to pick up on New Years Day, but they slept later than us so we kindly repaid the...

AS THE YEARS GO BY, THE MORE FRIENDS WE LOSE,BUT THE FOND MEMORIES REMAINS OF OUR FRIENDS.

Karen was the first person I met along with Gayle, Karen Cox and Beverly Johnson when I moved to Meadowbrook Elem. As seniors I was to pick up Karen and Sherry Keeton at 4 AM and take them to Texas Tech for a visit. I over slept and awoke to Karen rolling me out of the sack at 5. She road "shotgun" to make sure I drove 85mph all the way, so she would arrive in Lubbock at HER appointed time. What a trip! I did love that girl.

The memories I have of Karen are all full of laughter & fun. She taught me the California Cool dances when they moved back from Calif so that we could be the only ones that could do them at Teen Canteen. And when my curfew stopped the fun, she would just go and stand outside my bedroom window and we would continue to laugh and talk late into the night. I loved her the first day I met her and will carry her in my heart forever.

My life has been blessed knowing Karen. Because of her great giving nature, she always shared herself with others, both professionally and personally. There was not a thing she would not do for her many friends. I am thankful to have been included as one of those friends in Karen's life. I will miss her terribly.
