Tammy,Troy,Todd, and Mr Merkl I am so sorry to hear of Karens passing. She was such a funny lady. Tammy remember all those crazy times we had with her and your Aunt Joanne?
Just remember she is at peace and in a better place now. Take care and stay strong

My thoughts and prayers go to the Merkl family. Karen was the most wonderful, loving, thoughtful, funny, stubborn woman friend I ever had! She will be missed greatly. I had the wonderful pleasure to work with her at Cudahy Kmart in the jewelry department. What i am going to miss the most is just seeing that beautiful smile. Love you Karen and I am priviledged to say there is a beautiful angel watching over us.

I love you Auntie Karen!! You will forever be in my heart!

I have such great memories of Karen. She was fun, silly and always made us laugh. We spent a lot of fun times with her and her family when I was little. I am so glad I was able to see her a few weeks back when she was in the hospital. She was still saying funny things then. She will definitely be missed, but it's good to know we will all see her again someday. I will keep you all in my thoughts in prayers. Christine (Esaman) Butt

I will miss you VERY much. OOO

I am sorry to hear of Karen passing. I am a fellow Kmart employee as well. I worked with Karen at the Chase Ave Kmart from 1993 to 2003.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this trying time. Karen was a wonderful woman. My experiences with her were always filled with laughter.
Be stong for one another and hang on to those wonderful memories.
With deepest sympathies,
Chad and Candice Hoepner

Hi, I would like to extend my deepest sympathy and condolences to those who were family members and friends of Karen. I worked with Karen at the Kmart on South Chase Ave in Milwaukee for a little over a year back in 2001. Karen's presence made a positive impact on me and her general character is one I will not soon forget. When I remember our conversations or interactions I always remember 2 things: her voice and her laugh. I will always remember Karen Merkl as being lively, spunky, and...
