Not sure what to say?

Roger, I am so sad to read of Karen´s passing. Of all the relationships we encounter, a few stand out as natural, pure, and meant to be. The two of you were one of those few. I will always remember the warmth of that tower on a rainy day visit. Not from the glow of the heater in that tiny space, nor the scalding hot coffee presented in a brownish thick mug, but from two of the most awesome Scrabble players I have known. Karen will be missed.

Karen was a very important friend, and added very much to my life and the lives of all her friends and colleagues. She changed the courses of our lives. Karen was warm and selfless, and she took us in and helped us when we were in need. Though I had not seen her for many years, she held a special place in my heart and memories; I am sorry that I will not talk with her again. My thoughts are with you, Roger, and you are very prominent in my life as well. Perhaps we will meet and share...

Our entire family was blessed the day you met our Uncle Roger. Sharing lovely memories, the same birthday and of course my misunderstanding of my favourite, "Sweet Niece". Our hearts are crushed, we want more time but will cherish the moments we had and were able to have in the past year. We love you and continue to send as much love and strength as possible to you, Uncle Roger.

Thinking of you and sending hugs Roger. Karen was truly a bright spirit. Love Nancy and Terry

Sharing conversation in a livingroom filled with books or over the yard debris can, Karen was always ready with a smile and a laugh. She gifted us her childhood piano and though none of us really played, we had fun tinkering around with it. (She'd be glad to know the piano has been gifted again to a musical...

Distilled class, Karen & Roger. Real friendship, Seventy years. I have a lot to say, yet for now just - Gratitude. Benjamin Brown
