Not sure what to say?

Karen was a wonderful friend. Karen was caring, very smart, and we loved her smile. Karen would do anything for you. We miss Karen very much. We had great times at the Neswold home. We miss Dick too.

Dick...we are so very saddened by the news of Karen's passing. We didn't realize she was terminally ill so this news was a shock to us. We had wonderful times with you both when we were back in Chicago for visits. Her beautiful smile and overall positive aura brought happiness to everyone she around her. We wish you peace with your fond memories from your happy marriage. We will miss her. Our condolences to you and your family.

The Neswold family...our deepest sympathies go out to you for the loss of a beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, and in my case Cousin. Illness prevents me from joining you today in mourning Karen's passing. She will be missed.

Love,

Ed & Tina Gjertsen

Karen was always supportive of friends and a fountain of knowledge regarding so many things. She was also always willing to welcome people into her life. I consider myself fortunate to have known her and her husband. My thoughts and prayers are with Dick and all of her family - who she loved so very much.
It will not be an easy task, but I hope you all find peace as time passes.

Dick and family. My thoughts and prayers are with you today. Karen was such a beautiful person. Although I have not seen your family for quite some time, I have very wonderful memories of Karen growing up. May peace be with you today. Love, Denny

I knew Karen from Kelvyn Park H.S. and she always had a great spirit of love for her friends! Her smile was beautiful and she had a very kind and loving heart! God Bless her beautiful family and may Karens spirit live on forever! Always in my heart!

Dear Neswold Family,

While I never had the pleasure of knowing or even meeting Karen, I do know her husband Dick, as we played golf together thru the Park Ridge Men's Club last year. Dick is certainly a gentlemen's gentleman, a kind and concerned individual who definitely cares for his fellow Man. He helped me care for another friend who needed help getting home one evening last year. I am certain his spouse shared these qualities with him, and probably even helped to elevate him...

I am thinking of all the years of knowing Karen right now. Family was very important to her, and she was always so kind and loving to my parents, Jean and Walter Williams. As I was growing up, I looked up to her as someone who was extremely proud of her husband and children. She was so talented, too, with her art. I am happy to have shared so many holidays, birthdays, and other happy occasions with her. I will miss her and send my love and prayers to all the family, especially Dick,...
