I had the unique opportunity and honor of knowing Karen as ‘grandma’ Karen- she very lovingly accepted my request to be my grandma when I didn’t have a grandma, and she was such a good one; always there for me when I was growing up. I will forever be grateful for that and those memories will remain near and dear to my heart.
