I worked with Karen when she was the Orchestra Director at Wayland High School. She touched so many lives with her passion for music and teaching. I am grateful to have sampled her generous and supportive teaching style. She will be missed by the many orchestra students that she mentored over the years. My my deepest condolences to her family.

Karen was a sweet member of our church care group. When she moved to Grand Haven she couldn´t attend as often as she would like so we would take turns picking her up so she could attend. We all loved her and Loren and are so glad they both ended up at Grand Rapids First. We along with Karen missed Loren and now will miss them both. They both brought love and laughter to our group. Praying for your family!
