Not sure what to say?

I was granted the opportunity of meeting Karen during her stay in the hospital. I understood right away what a wonderful woman I was talking with. My thoughts often come back to her and her children. I am thankful for our short time together.

DEAR KATHRYN, SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT KAREN'S DEATH. HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT YOU SO OFTEN. WISH WE COULD HAVE SEEN YOU MORE OFTEN. WE LOVE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY SO MUCH. BILL AND CAROLYN LEE.

When my senior class sponsored the 1953 Talent Night at Aliceville High School, I was the M.C. and Karen was a contestant in the elementary school beauty walk. I didn't know her, but with her passing, I've heard from many others what a wonderful person she was. My condolences to her mother, her brother and to her children in their loss.

Dear Mrs. Kathryn, Karmen and family,
We were so saddened to hear of Karen's death. Dale was close to Karen's age and Karmen was in my class at AHS.
I remember visiting in your home for several days shortly after you moved to Tuscaloosa. I enjoyed so much visiting with you and with Karen at that time.
Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
With love and heartfelt sympathy,
Dale and Faye Moore

Sarah, please accept my deepest sympathy, and know that my prayers are with you and your family. Debbie Dessureau

I was closer to Carmen's age but remember seeing Karen and Maria Rosawicz and sometimes Rosalynde riding their horses up and down the highway - and Karen "hung out" with my two older sisters, Sharon and Sandra - My thoughts and prayers are with the family and I was deeply saddened to hear of Karen's death at such a young age. Our classmates and friends from growing up in Aliceville are always the first people who respond and care about us and each other......

I was very sad when I heard of Karen's death. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in this time of grief and sadness.

GOD BLESS EACH OF YOU IN HIS LOVE!
OUR LOSS IS HEAVEN'S GAIN; WHAT A LOVELY LADY! I REMEMBER HER OUTER AND INNER BEAUTY FROM OUR DAYS IN SCHOOL WHEN SHE WAS 'WAY BACK IN GRADES FROM JIMMIE AND ME.
