Karen's family, I loved Karen deeply (as did hundreds of people). We had been Ems buddies since 1985 and quilting buddies also. "Honey" will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love Julie Dettwiller

So many wonderful & funny memories & great laughter through the years with this wonderful lady, I will always remember & be grateful the day she took me under her wing in that old Portsmouth Ambulance Wheelchair truck & taught me the ropes of the job, I never heard her talk ill about anyone, unless you stepped on her toes, then she would give you a mouthful of her opinion, LOL!! Which you usually deserved to hear, LOL!!! She was always a great & wonderful friend to all that crossed paths with...

Karen was such a sweet neighbor, friend and family to all that knew her. She was happy and fun to be around and always thought of others first anytime they needed her. As a member of a quilt guild that we had in Wheelersburg, we laughed and learned how to quilt and even danced to rock and roll at our quilt camp we attended. Her children and grandchildren was the love of her life. I will miss Karen and her laughter...Rest in Peace Karen. Condolences to her family.
