Dear Romanowsky Family, I was saddened to hear about Karen´s passing. Karen and I worked together at New Jersey DOT. She was such a breath of fresh air. Always positive and a great sense of humor. I will surely miss her.

I was heartbroken to hear that my friend Karen passed away this week. I met Karen in 2003 when we were both fitness instructors at RWJ in Hamilton. We became friends from the moment we met. We shared many memories from our years of teaching studio and aqua classes. I got to know her socially as well since many of us became a fitness family and would socialize outside of the gym. Sending hugs and prayers to Karen´s family. From being my instructor at the gym it grew into a true friendship that included dinners out, plays in NYC and even being invited to her "family soirée"! I will always hold a very special place in my heart for my friend Karen. RIP
