Not sure what to say?

I am a niece-in-law of Karen. As a member of the Thiss family, we spent several holidays with Karen, Rod and family which always seemed to be filled with laughter. Karen was a wonderful, fun person to be around. I will always remember how she was good to her sister Joyce and Joyce's family. Karen, although she may not have known it, was a huge comfort to Mark and Chuck after Joyce's passing. Karen and Rod have a wonderful family of children and grandchildren. May God bring you all peace...

I, as well my family, have been close friends for 30 years and there isn't a time when I don't ever remember my mom and Karen doing something with each other. My fond memories are very extensive from Karens home perms to Twins games at the Sall house, her laughter, her wit and charm, her bologne sandwiches, Bible studies at Falcon Heights Church, her creativeness such as Thelma, the lady in the red dress made out of pantyhose. My life and memories of growing up are so entwined with the Sall...

For 30 years Debbie and family have been in my life, starting around age 5. I remember cutting through the neighbor's yard to reach the Sall house day after day. In that home I experienced kindness, tradition, stability, friendship and love. To me, Karen's legacy is her beautiful family. Almost my entire exsistence has been intertwined with them. I am forever grateful for this gift.

We see Karen in the kids she and Rod raised, and in the grandchildren that she loved so much. How wonderful to know that her ideas, joys and laughter keep going on and on with all of you. In Christ, all things are made new, and we rejoice in this good news for Karen.

I am so fortunate to have known Karen. I have many wonderful memories. Thistledew, early breakfast with the gang before school, playing cards, and just hanging out. I am fortunate to have had Karen a part of the "village" that helped raised me. Heather

Karen and I share a granddaughter Edie. I have seen Karen with her grandkids. They must know that she loved them very much. They were always welcome at the house, as was anyone who stopped by. We spent a very rainy weekend at the lake with Rod and Karen. I think that was when we got to know each other.
She was such fun to be with. I know that the family and her friends will miss her greatly. You have many memories. God grant you peace as you remember Karen and all the memories.

I met Debbie in college and feel very fortunate to have also gotten to know the rest of the Sall family. Actually, I think it's probably hard to know just one member of the family- they are such a tight bunch if you know one, you likely know them all. I, like so many others, also have fond memories of the warmth of the Sall household, always welcoming and filled with lively conversation and smiles. Ma Kettle and I definately bonded while spending time together bent over one of her puzzles on...

Sall Family - It's hard to select a favorite memory of Karen because there are so many to choose from. Karen was a wonderful expample for others in the way she led her life. She was always welcoming and caring, often times to peole she didn't even know. I remember Karen sending a roll of quaters with Jenny when she visited me in Chicago with instructions to give the money to homeless people. If more people would take the time to do good, thougtful deeds like Karen did, the world would be a...
