Not sure what to say?

Karen was not only the choral director for all the musicals and talent shows we put on, she was my friend. So many wonderful memories and laughs. She believed anyone can be taught to sing until she heard my voice when a few teachers did a silly number for a Talent show. And she said,”Well”. But we sure put on some great productions in that old high school cafetorium! So much fun. So many wonderful kids. We even survived working with the band director, Rob Schadel who was always mad at me...

Mrs. Schadel was a huge part of my life in school. I will always remember how much she put into each of the choirs, musical, and LOcomotion. She made a big impact on me. I loved her.

In high school you had to choose between band or choir and the schedule didn't allow both so Karen proposed having before or after school choir to enable band students to be a part of the choir program and many students took part in that and were thankful that they were able to do...

Karen and her family were a faithful family at LOUMC for years and always great to talk to. Always blessed with Karen's musical talent We would always talk to them after watching Rob and Scot.t play with NOCB. Both Karen and Rob will always be remembered fondly. Rick & Patty
