Not sure what to say?

As the anniversary comes again, I am thinking of Karen and our other co-workers who were killed. Karen was a lovely woman and I remember her fondly. May her memory be a blessing.

So saddened to have found out my old first grade friend was one of the victim's of this tradgedy.....there are no words......

Karen, I read your name at the memorial today and a rose signed your name... your birthday must have been this days...
I remember 9/11 so as it was yesterday... coming home after being on duty that night- looking forward to have a great soccer-evening...
I switched on TV and saw the second plane hitting the tower... from that moment, I couldn't stop watching... till 2am...
These moments changed the world... and finished your life at same age like I'm now... I remember being at...

Karen may you rest in peace & forever be comforted in the arms of God.

Every year on this day I think of you and, with tears in my eyes say a little prayer that you have found eternal life and that God's love is helping your family heal a bit more with each passing year. You and those that went with you on that tragic day will never be forgotten.

Karen....I will never forget. You or your laugh or what a great friend you were to members of my family. Each year passes and I cry....remembering what was and what will never be. You are wrapped in God's love. where peace is a daily occurence. May yoy find solace on knowing that knew you and the other victims of this tragedy will NEVER FORGET!

Although I never knew you, I was given the same name at birth..."Karen," and my maiden name is Schmidt. I was also 42 - your age - at the time of your passing. I know you are wrapped very tightly in God's arms today...more than ten years later, and I know this world is worse for your loss. I read that you loved tennis - me too, only you were a player and I tend to watch. If I can mark your memory in some small way, I will try to play
(at life and living) more often in tribute to you.

Karen Helene Schmidt WTC Sept 11 2001

Today at church, there was a basket of all the names of the victims of 9/11. The priest asked everyone to take a name and pray for them & their families. My 6 year old daughter eagerly took out a name and it was yours. Tonight she reminded me to say a prayer for you and she would, too.
