Professor Schneider, I am saddened to hear of Karen's passing. She was such a kind person, and I enjoyed talking with her when she would visit the Law Library. I wish you and your children comfort and peace.

Fred, I was shocked to read of Karen's passing. I thought of you both often, especially during Advent when we use the wreath that you and Karen gave me on the occasion of my wedding, twenty-six years ago. "May she rest in peace and rise in glory" and may God send His mighty angels to surround and protect you, your family and all who knew and loved her. Please keep me informed about the memorial service as I would like very much to attend.
