Not sure what to say?

So very sorry for your loss. I was a kinder at Lincoln School in the afternoon class during the 58/59 school year, Karen's first year of teaching. I still have the class photo somewhere, but I haven't been able to locate it. I remember that she started the year as Miss Corn and became Mrs. Scott. My mom still has the plaster of paris hand print that was made in the spring of my kinder year. Thoughts and prayers will be with you as you celebrate her life and mourn her passing.

We are keeping the obituary webpage open with the hope that former students will continue to record memories of Mom. Thank you to everyone who has contacted us. Jena & Krista Scott

Mrs. Scott was also my Kindergarten teacher from '82-'83 and she was every bit of everything that was mentioned in her obituary. She was a passionate and wonderful educator! I had the distinct honour of being her classroom assistant during the '94-'95 school year. It was an experience I will also hold dear in my heart. Her voice will always ring forth in my mind with the strength and vitality it embodied. Requiescat in pace, Mrs. Scott. You are loved and will be missed greatly.

Mrs. Scott was my Kindergarten teacher in 1978-79 school year at Jefferson. I still share stories of that year and reflect fondly on memories of the classroom set up, Mrs. Corning our assistant and of course, Mrs. Scott. My memories are vivid and incredibly entertaining to my daughters with whom I've shared many of them with...the memories could very well be written into a popular children's book series - I'm pretty sure of it!
