Not sure what to say?

My heart goes out to all the Silverman family and friends. I grew up with Karen at Camp Chateaugay, spending many many precious years at a wonderful place- learning about life. She was a beautiful person, inside and out. I can picture her and I talking on the front lawn of Camp just gabbing and taking in the sunshine, getting tans, just enjoying the wonderful surroundings around us. What a special time that was. She sure was loved by all who knew her. May she rest in Gods Peace now.

My daughters all went to summer camp with Karen. I remember Karen so well. A lovely and beautiful little girl and everyone loved her. I remember her Mom also. A charming and beautiful woman and I can still remember how lovely she was. It's hard to believe that this beautiful young woman is gone. My heart goes out to the family.

I met Karen in the 60's and went to Camp Chateaugay with her and several others, year after year, through the early 70's. Even though we lost touch, I feel as if she was a lifelong friend and it's absolutely heartbreaking. I think of the Silverman clan and it brings such sweet memories. Gary, David, Billy and Nancy, my heart goes out to you and to Karen's entire family. With much love, Linda Dobrin Szalay

Karen was a fun-loving, kind and adventurous friend to all of us in the late 60's, early 70's Chateaugay crowd. She is the center of our treasured memories of our shared youth. We are so sad. With love to Gary, David, Billy and Nancy. Judy, Beth and Debbie Zeeman

The world was a better place with you in it. Rip Karen.

Shocked and sad one of the finest people I grew up with, love prayers and thoughts to the Silverman family Lloyd Soppe
