Karen Eisele Smotherman, age 65 of Murfreesboro, TN, died December 11, 2011.
A native of St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of the late William and Jane Meyer Eisele.
Ms. Smotherman is survived by her son, Skipper Smotherman and his wife Sharon of Murfreesboro, TN; brothers, William Eisele of California and Ken Eisele of Alabama; grandchildren, Caleb, Nathan and Elijah Smotherman.
Ms. Smotherman was a 1964 graduate of Central High School.

We were very saddened to hear of Ms. Karen's passing. We knew Ms. Karen from the fall of 1998 when she took care of our 3 month old son, Matthew, at Tot's Landing Day Care. She was so sweet and loving to Matthew. As new parents it made us relieved to know Ms. Karen was caring for our child. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time of loss.
