Not sure what to say?

Very Sorry to hear about the passing of a fine lady to earned respect where ever she went. She help Pennsylvania citizens with disabilities launch the first effort to provide attendant care to people with severe disabilities under the Act 150 demonstration projects. Her leadership was critical to a consumer responsive system that is now taken for granted on a National Scale. I will always remember Secretary Snider's personal leadership on the success of this program. Thank you so much for...

Dear Jack and family,
So sorry to hear about the sudden death of Karen. I have always admired her endless giving spirit and her many accomplishments. Many good memories of our cocktail hours at your home and Karen's ability to always make her guests feel welcome.
All the best to you and family.
Rebecca Chick

We in the School of the Humanities at Messiah College are deeply appreciative of the good work that Karen did in helping us find ways to connect our programming with the needs of high school students in the Harrisburg area. Her advocacy for and support of Harrisburg will be greatly missed.

We shall remember you always for the standard you established in dealing with staff and clients.

An amazing woman... a mentor and role and role model... pure class and grace. Karen, you will be deeply missed.

Karen put her heart into everything she did. She never accepted "No" as an answer to her requests. I am grateful for the time I was able to serve others, with her (she volunteered me).
She was a wonderful lady and friend, who expressed great pride and love for her family. May fond memories fill your hearts with joy as you celebrate a life well lived.

Karen was a wonderful person and her beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts and minds of the many people that she touched. I had the pleasure of serving with Karen on the United Way of the Capital Region's Board of Directors. She will be missed.

I will long remember Karen for her wit, intelligence, and determined dedication at helping the less fortunate, forgotten, and neglected in our society. Her impact was immense and so will her legacy be.

Kipp, and family,
Our sincere sympathy on the loss of your Mom, what an amazing lady she was, what a great example she gave,, we are thinking of you all, with much Love, Trish, Jeff, Chelsea, Jenna and Alex
