Karen was like my mom. She married my uncle, changing his whole life. Creating the life of their dreams, only shorter than hoped. Karen never passed up a good time! She was always up for the adventure. Whitewater rafting in Humboldt, snorkeling in Hawaii, hopping trains in Germany, making sure to see every museum and show along the way. Thank you for showing me how to live and love wholeheartedly.

Karen was a kind and gentle person. She was very loyal and loving to her family and those she loved. Scarlett brought her such joy and Scarlett loved Grandma Karen very much. I know Grandma Karen taught Scarlett so much that she will carry Grandma Karen in her heart forever.

Karen was a kind and wonderful friend. Upon working with her she always was always willing to talk on family and share humorous stories. She was always willing to text and check in. Even in the throws of her fight she made it a point to provide invitations to visit and talk at her wonderful home. You will be missed dearly Karen, thank you for all your goodness and kindness to my family and I.
