Karen Grace Violette

I attended Kenmore West High school with Karen – we were on student council and in class shows together. She was a class officer at least one year and it caused the meetings to run long because she would break people up with perfectly delivered jokes. Karen was a delightful person in every way. It’s sad to learn of her passing. (I live in Maryland so am not up on Florida news.)

Karen was one of the first friends I made while moving to Sarasota. She invited me to her home many times and I felt like I knew her for years. She was the kindest and most caring person. I was honored to call her my friend. RIP
