Not sure what to say?

Good bye, Karen until we see each other again! You were one of my very first true spiritual gurus. Your kindness and compassion and primo humor were absolutley the greatest. Your presence will always be here, because your light is so wonderful. Many healing hugs to Leo, Laura, John and Dan. much love, Marianne

My husband John is Karen's nephew. Karen will be deeply missed by all of us. She was always a sweet and endearing person, always offering a hand and never asking for anything in return. During her last few days of life she made our 2-1/2 year old daughter laugh while the two of them were "fighting" over a mylar balloon bought for Karen, back and forth it went about four times. On the same day we bought her some beautiful lilacs and brought them to her, she closed her eyes to savor the smell....

Leo and family,
I remember so well the day Karen and I sat at the picnic table at Holland State Park while you and Don got the trailer set up. She was so pleased with the "new" trailer and had it decorated SO nice. But mostly I remember her smile as she talked about her family, and how easily she shared about her faith. We pray that you can take comfort in knowing that her pain is gone, and she is with the Lord. Our prayers are with you as you grieve this unbelievable loss.

When I got the news on Tuesday afternoon my heart just broke! I couldn't believe that Karen was not with us anymore even now it seems unreal! She was a very kind and loving person and loved her family with all her heart and soul! My prayers are with her husband and children. Her daughter Laura is one of my closest and dearest friends! Karen raised an awsome daughter! Sending thoughts and prayers to her family and friends that knew her best. I will miss her too!

What I remember most of Karen is her smile. I used to love to see her when I would come into work at Frames. I called her my mom-away-from-mom. She was so much fun and a good listener with great advice. She used to talk about how proud she was of her kids every day. We all loved her. My condolences to the family and friends who were lucky enough to have a close relationship with Karen. You are in my thoughts.

Thinking of you in your time of sorrow. Condolences from the staff at Elders Helpers
