Kari was born in Springfield and lived in East Longmeadow all her life, until moving to Virginia 4 years ago. She attended East Longmeadow schools and Chameleons School of Hair Design and Esthetics. Kari had a passion for life and a gift of bringing joy to all who knew her. Kari's love of life was expressed and shared with everyone she met. Heggie; her mother Susan Tucker Gonyea and her husband David of Springfield; father Robert Delnickas of Mystic, CT; brother Lee S. Delnickas and his partner Dawn Rollend; sister Lori A. She also leaves her father and mother-in-law Alexander and Judi Heggie; brother-in-law Alston and his wife Melen Heggie and their children Ava Kate and Emma Heggie. Kari was predeceased by her grandparents David and Betty Tucker and George and Lena Delnickas. Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Friday from 4:00 - 7:00pm. On behalf of my Wife Barbara and I we would like to extend our condolences to the family and friends of Kari.
We stay connected with masslive when we are not in the area.
I have very fond memories of Bob and Susan and the kids when they were young. I believe I sill have pictures by your pool in E. Longmeadow when I built it in the mid 70's.
We are very sorry for your loss. Our Thoughts and Prayers are with you.
