Not sure what to say?

I'm deeply sorry for this thing. Kari and I were pretty close friends for a little while. Kari was one of the sweetest girls I have even been around. When I found out I could not believe it. I know that Kari is in heaven and I pray that one day we will meet again. sorry once again for this is a burden that is hard to obtain. In loving memory friend Patrick Dalstra

To Kari's family,
I did not know Kari well, but wanted to send my condolences to you. The times I did talk with her it was always a pleasure. My thoughts and my prayers go out to all of you.

Dear DeVries Family,

I read Kari's obituary in Monday's paper. I don't know you, nor did I ever meet your precious Kari, but for some reason I just feel compelled to write.

Perhaps it's that she was so young, or that she obviously comes from a very loving family. Perhaps it's just that I know about pain in my own life, as I lost my wonderful wife, Rebecca, nearly one year ago, June 1, 2004. She was just 37 years of age.

It's very obvious to me that...

DeVries Family,

I wanted to share my condolences for your loss of Kari. May God bless and keep you all through your time of grief.

DeVries Family,
The staff at Metropolitan Hospital, and especially 4 Tower (where Kari worked),want you to know how very saddened we all are about Kari's death. She was a very sweet, caring, and kind person who touched many lives here at the hospital. We know she would have made an excellent nurse.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Don, Shelly and family,

I am living in Mexico but check on the GR Press from here.

I am so sorry to read about Kari. I know from personal experience how the grace of God surpasses understanding during such a loss.

My prayers are with all of you.

Love,

Kaye

Dear Don, Shelley, Dan and Abby:

We were shocked and saddened to hear about the passing away of your daughter and sister. It is our prayer that Our Heavenly Father will sustain you in this difficult time by His Holy Spirit. May you be comforted by those who love you and may you be strengthened by the certainty of our faith- that our only comfort in life and in death is that we are not our own but belong, body and soul to our Faithful Savior!

With Christian sympathy,

My sympathies to all of Kari's family. I know it's so difficult to make sense of these kinds of things. I went to school at CC with Kari. She was such a sweet girl. She will be sadly missed. Tara Smith
