Not sure what to say?

Karin has gone to join the greatest artists of all-time in the stars above, her genuine kindness, passion for painting, and outstanding skills will never be forgotten by those of us who were lucky enough to have been touched by this talented soul.

One of my favorite artists that I found a few years ago on Ebay. I am lucky to own four of her oil paintings. I was saddened to find out why she was no longer selling on Ebay after I Googled her name...Rest in Peace...

qué tristeza¡ una mujer joven con una gran obra. El mundo queda un poco húerfano de la belleza que tanto necesita. Gracias Karin

I have just learned of Karin's passing as I tried to reach her website and discovered it was no longer online. Such very sad news about such an amazing talent. She became one of my favorite artists purely from discovering her work on Ebay and then following her after that. I hope you own one of her paintings some day.

I just happened to stumble up this very sad news. Karin was one of my favorite artists and am lucky enough to own one of her paintings. May she rest in peace with the angels.

I'm so sorry to see this - I have three of Karin's paintings and have been an admirer from the first time I saw her work. I noticed the Art Institute paintings and we "chatted" about growing up in the Chicago area and visiting the Art Institute many a summer day. My condolences to her family and friends

Love your paintings, Karin. You are missed by admirers like me.

After a long break from painting I was checking out the blogs of artists whose work I love and am devastated to learn of Karen's death. I really felt I knew her personally through her wonderful paintings and her observations on life. I am in tears - I will miss her enormously. My sincere condolences to her partner in life, family and friends.

Karin was my boss at the Great Frame Up for 25 years, and one of the closest friends I have ever had. News of her sudden passing hit me like a freight train and I am still processing it three months after the fact. She was a great boss, a great person and as a fellow artist, a constant source of inspiration and hope. She always believed in me when no one else did. I will miss her tremendously. RIP, Karin, you will always be in my memories.
