Golf Road, Schaumburg, and proceed to St. Marcelline Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. Born Jan. 1, 1979, in St. Charles, she passed away Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005. Karin was a 1997 graduate of Schaumburg High School. She was the beloved daughter of Coralynn Mathiesen and Carl Mathiesen; loving sister of Britt Mathiesen; dear niece of Else (Oddvar) Gilje and Dwain (Corrine) Tataryn; fond cousin of Trine and Tonje Gilje, and Renee and Jennifer Tataryn; and devoted friend of "Oscar".
