Read MoreI met Karin in November of 1996, when our family moved to San Antonio. Our husbands worked for the same company, Tesoro. Karin brought me a welcome gift. On many occasions, Karin would invite me to go out for lunch with her and friends of Tesoro. Karin even had us over to her lovely home. Karin was a gracious woman. Our paths crossed during the years when Karin was a member of the San Antonio Mastersingers. Even during that brief time, her love of music and her positive force in the world were so evident. I think of her as one of those special people who brought a positive force wherever she went.
