Karin J. Vardijan

I served on the grand jury with Karin, and I knew her as a gentle and kind woman with iron at her core. She would listen to your arguments and make up her own mind. I was honored to know her. Easy with a smile, she was a pleasure to know. Don't make the mistake of seeing a small woman and think she would be a push over. She could be tough, and I think back to our time together with a smile. She was exceptional, and I will miss her.

Karin was a colleague on the 2012/13 Grand Jury. She was wonderful to work with. I admired her spirit and upbeat attitude despite her health problems.

I am so sorry to learn of Karen's passing. I knew her as a very dedicated and hard working member of the 2012-2013 Contra Costa County Civil Grand Jury. She was a real lady, bright and well spoken, and a pleasure to be around. I will miss her.
