Karl Bauer

I only briefly knew Karl in his role as a delivery driver at a Jimmy John's I worked at but I loved his personality and sense of humor/. He was very sweet and had a great energy about him. I'm sad I never got to see his comic book that he had created, he wanted to bring it in to show everybody but never got the chance. He loved sharing stories about his time in Montana and growing up in Urbana and talking about music since he played bass guitar. He was a good soul who will be missed.

Words can´t express the pain I feel for your loss. I will continue to pray for the family.

So sad to hear of Karl’s passing. He was a star of Leal School and part of my best memories as a elementary school kid. May all the happiest memories come to his family often like a hug from heaven.

Just found out about Karl´s passing. We have a high school reunion coming up and had just mentioned yesterday he was someone I´d like to see again. Have known Karl since 1st grade Leal school. A funny, smart, and kind person. We got to hang out when I moved back to Urbana in college. My family just watched a home movie a few weeks ago where we did the musical Patience at Leal and Karl is in it. Great memories!
