Not sure what to say?

On behalf of my family consisting of my aunt and uncle, Helen and Winfield Morten (deceased), owners of Rancho de Abiquiu in the 1940s & 1950s and my deceased brother, Robert Hopkins, I am sending condolences. We all thought very highly of Karl and all the Bodes. Saddened by his death.

Our deepest condolences from Karls friends at Artesanos Imports Company. He was such a lovely customer. His visits will be missed.

My sincere condolences to his family. Karl was my father's best man and he was my Godfather. He was wonderful person and we had reconnected about 3 years ago.

I am so sorry we have lost Karl. He was everything that is good in a person and I am thankful we knew him. Marcelle, my sister in law, Brooke my granddaughter and I saw him in June and he told us he would celebrate his 90th birthday in November. We marveled at how spry and sharp he was at his age. Beautiful memories of a profoundly kind and gentle-man. Always a genuine hello, along with a warm smile. Our family adored he and Lillian, and they were so welcoming of our family when we moved there to a beautiful small town called Abiquiu. Rest in Peace, Karl.

My grandmother, Gregorita Lopez(died 1966) ,thought very highly of Karl. He was a respected man by all who knew him. Once when I visited Abiquiu and saw Karl at the General Store, I told him who I was and he remembered my grandma and me. Rest In Peace Karl.
