Not sure what to say?

Boy do I miss those phone calls at any time of the day or night, mostly day! Drew's brand of humor could easily be missed by those of who live & die by our wits. Drew's storytelling ability was legend, always interesting, if sometimes on the longish side, if truth be told. His interests went beyond the scholarly, glass, for example, bringing him to the famous glass museum in Corning, more than once! Drew was a lovely neighbor, he brought treasured door to door Christmas caroling to my boys childhood. He will be missed. Regards, Jackie and Chris Treanor

Drew Hartzell taught opera at SUNYA, and I knew him well from his attendance at local events, especially the Union College Concert Series and Troy Chromatic Concerts. He was quiet and soft-spoken but still charming, friendly and affable. I will miss him greatly.
