Karl was born on August 5, 1933 and passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. Karl was a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana at the time of his passing. Karl graduated from Tulane in 1958 with a masterâs degree in architecture. He was married to Nelda. Services will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church 445 Marquette Ave. on Saturday Oct. 8 with visitation at the church from 9:00 a.m. Followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church âTraditions for Tomorrow Fundâ or to Saint Josephâs Academy Foundation 3015 Broussard St. 70808.
Karl was my first mentor in the field of architecture as well as a dear friend. I will always remember our spirited conversations about everything under the sun. My condolences and prayers go out to his family. He will be missed.
