Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear about his passing,it's been 20 yrs or so since I've seen him, thoughts go out to his family, remember helping him Clean his reptile room a few times before he got married when he was still in st.paul on hazlewood Ave...my mother Cheryl Serfin and i send our condolences.

My name is Terence McClenney and I just learned of Karl's passing. I'm so heartbroken. What a beautiful soul. I once visited him with a friend (Bart) at his home in Woodbury. Where we measured his Tiger Reticulated python at 19 ft and 6 in. Such a warm, intelligent and thoughtful person. My heart sank when Nick (of Twin Cities Reptiles) told me. Godspeed Karl. You are truly, truly missed.

Heidi, Mitchell, Paige and Cole:

I just learned of Karl's passing and wanted to pass along my condolences. I worked with Karl at Deluxe back in the late 80s/early 90s. I remember him as a smart, confident and fun-loving co-worker and it brings back fond memories. He was a great man. Please know you're in our prayers.

Heidi this very late in response to Karl's passing. I worked with him at Deluxe for a year during the "plaid moon" days and those long hours to get this project up and running. He seriously was the nicest person to work with and go through the excitement of this big project and to then be let go from it. He left a place in my heart and every year at the mn state fair when we'd pass the snake/ reptile garden i would ask my husband (who is terrified of all snakes) to go in see them and I know...

Karl was one of the kindest guys we ever knew.we care about the whole Hermann clan. May gods peace be with you all for comfort.

Heidi - you had a jewelry party at my house (via Kate) many years ago. I remember you telling me that Karl had survived hodgkins (similar to my ex-husband), I have kept you all in my prayers and learned of Karl's death listening to the radio yesterday. Monty Krizen was being interviewed and mentioned that he had just lost his dear friend Karl to cancer. I am so sorry for your loss Heidi. God Bless you and your family during this very difficult time. Lori Larson

I am so sorry that we missed the services. We offer only condolences, and great peace for his extended family. They say it will get better, but I can only hope so for you all. Love and tears Jan and Laurel

A warm hug to Karl's extended family. It was impossible not to like Karl. His kind heart, open mind and generous laugh were simply too inviting. He will be dearly missed by friends and colleagues, alike.

I was so sad to hear the news of Karl's passing. Even though I haven't seen Karl for many years, I have fond memories of working at Deluxe check printers with Him. We both started on the same day. I remember getting his famous "reptile" Christmas cards each year. I had the pleasure of working with him for 9 years. He was kind, smart, funny, and was loved by all. My Prayers go out to his Family.
