A great friend

I am sorry to hear of karls passing. I flew with him in vietnam. He will always live on in my mind as a true gentleman and a great flyer.

Dear Ellen,
We were deeply saddened to hear of Bentley's passing. We were out of town and unable to attend his services. He was a fine fellow Army Officer and a real gentleman. We will miss Bentley and his good humor.
