Not sure what to say?

I think of Karl very often and thank him and my father for their lifelong examples of what true friends are.

Dear Chuck and Tom, I just learned of your Father's passing. I remember him as a very kind man and I will always remember him as the hero from the story you both told me of his war days. I was actually telling someone the other day the story and part of the discussion was that " they don't make them like that anymore". My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. Janet (Spaeth) Rowe (Springfield, VA)

Dear Tom and Laura and family,

Dave and I wish to express our condolences on the loss of your father, father-in-law, and grandfather. Tom, what a fascinating and productive life your father led. You must have been very proud to be his son.

Fondly, your old neighbors,

Joanne and David Henry

There has always been the friendship of Karl and my Dad, Max G., always. Karl was a warm, gracious and very generous man. My husband and our two children spent a few days at the ranch in the early 90's. It was a wonderful experience for the kids and us. Just knowing that there is always Karl and my dad was quite something. He will be missed. Beth Gendelman Rattner

Hello Chuck, sorry for your loss, we were past renters of yours on Church Street years ago. My name is Rick Schey and my wife Cecilia Schey. We own a new condo in San Luis Obispo. I also know how it is to loose a parent, my Dad passed away March 2008 at Sierra Vista after being in a assisted livng home in San Luis Obispo after having a stroke. I also lost my Mom in 1997. So we wish you and the entire family the best Chuck. Take care, Rick & Cecilia Schey

Dr Kirschner and I spent many hours together when I was working in the capacity as Coroner Investigation. I am very appreciative of what he taught me in determining many unexplained and mysterious death cases. He was a good friend and will always be remembered.
Don A. Hines
Chief Deputy Coroner Retired.

Karl was my mentor anf friend. As a 16 year old I lived with his family for a summer. His epic friendship with my father has been the cornerstone of both of our families. I will always be thankful for the great gift of life that Karl Kisrchner has betowed upon me and others.

I fondly remember working for Dr. Kirschner after High School in early 1974 - driving all over the county in a VW Bug. After reading how he arrived here, I know he was destined for this area. I know he will be missed, but we are grateful for his life and contributions.

I worked with Karl as a fellow physician for many years in San Luis Obispo and came to know him as an honest and caring doctor and a gentleman.
