Not sure what to say?

I initially met Karl on the ski bus while traveling up Big Cottonwood Canyon. He was heading for Brighton Ski Resort to do some skiing and noticed I was a fellow participant in one of his favorite pastimes: telemark skiing. We continued to converse periodically in the season pass holder’s locker room and eventually ran into each other on the slopes and skied several runs together. These wintertime interactions led to invitations from Karl to join him and his numerous friends on various...

Dear Lagerbergs: I first met your father in Frankfurt in 1971. He and your mother were so kind to us single servicemen. I remember one Christmas when they and you invited us to help celebrate the St. Lucia Day. Inger Rueckert was there also. We loved your parents then. Through the years I have seen them occasionally and they never forgot me as I am sure they remembered many others. That is incredible. I have great respect for them. May you be comforted at this time. sincerely, Ron...

Dear Patty, Cathy, Peter and Family,

My mom, Margaret (Solly) Lagerberg met your dad and mom in the early 70's and my dad, Robert (Bob) Lagerberg, knew Karl and Anna very well eventhough they lived in California.

Nancy and I got to know Karl and Anna in 1976 and we later came from North Dakota to have Karl give blessings to our oldest two daughters in 1991 and 1993.
He was a wonderful man and we talked about Sweden, Scouts and mountain climbing for hours. He also took us to...

Dear Patty, Cathy, Peter and Family,
Just heard from my brother John about the passing of your father and my friend. I truly love him and rejoice knowing that he is now with your wonderful mother as I'm sure she probably pulled some strings to get him there fast!

I cherish our times together in Germany and Sweden and look forward to getting back together again. I only wish that I could be there today to share in the memories and your sorrow and joy.

My patriarchal blessing...

Dear Lagerberg family,

With interest and fond remembrances we note the passing of Karl. A friendly outgoing Swede that won the hearts of many of us in Cedar City. Our sympathy and well wishes go out to you.

Karl and Friends Mt. Elbert Climbing Trip Colorado 1993

I first meet Karl at Brighton Ski Resort in 1991 when he noticed me struggling to link Telemark turns. He took me under his wing and taught me all there was to know about this difficult to master skiing style. I remember several wonderful days skiing in his company and in the company of all of his friends who loved to ski with Karl and listen to his stories. He introduced me to hiking the high peaks of the Wasatch and I was amazed at his strength on the long, steep trails of Mt. Raymond,...

Dear Family,
My parents knew both your parents already from the times they came to the Swiss Temple. And then we drove up to Frankfurt in 1972 to have your Dad and Grandpa give us our patriarchal blessing.
We have such good memories of both your parents, also from the time we visited them in SLC.
Isn't it wonderful to know that we can meet again and that families are forever? I could imagine my mom and dad getting together with your parents.
We are grateful for having known such...
