Not sure what to say?

Karl, you're missed every day. You were one of the best. Sending peace & love to Vesma & Ivars.

Dear Vesma and Ivars. Your hearts must be broken after losing Karl. I am so sorry. I just found out today while reading an old newspaper. Something told me to read some of my old ones today so at random I pulled out June 14, and decided to even to look at the obits. I couldn't believe it when I saw Karl there. I will always remember him from our days on Champain Dr. He was always an interesting person. Derek and I enjoyed chatting with both your sons. Love to you both and to Eric too. This...

Karl was one of my dearest friends for over 20 years. A true confidant and always there for support and love. I'm grateful for all the memories, the laughs, the tears. I'm heartbroken . May Karl rest peacefully with eternal music. May everyone who knew him cherish the memories. Peace & Love to all.

Karl was a great friend, Im grateful we grew up together attending Ainsworth and Lincoln together. I admired his positive attitude and his calm nature. He will be greatly missed. Vesma, Ivars, and Erik, so very sorry for your loss.

i was in Curtis Salgados band when Karl was road manager. He was such a sweet kind guy. He always took care of us on top of the million other things he had on his plate. I knew Karl extremely well and the news broke my heart. Its horrible thinking I cant reach out and give him a bad time now. The little things that kept Karl a part of my life. I loved Karl. He was a terrific soul. Always a smile... always a kind word.

This news is such a sad surprise. I liked Karl very much. We did shows together in the late 90s around Portland. He ran sound for my band and was always great to work with and be around.

I'm so sorry to hear of Karl's passing, my deepest condolences to all who loved him. There was real light in that man's soul.

I don't know the words to fully convey the depth of the feelings I have for Karl, and for you, his family. I have not known another person with the ability to love so fully, and I know that he learned that from the way that you love him. I loved Karl deeply as well, and to say that he will be missed is a massive understatement. He was a huge influence in my life, and I am so thankful for knowing him. I have been thinking of you Vesma, Ivars, and Erik, and I continue to send so much love, and...

Tim and I are so sad about the news of Karl. We want you to know how much we are thinking about you all at this time. Our thoughts are with you with much love and care.
