One of my favorite memories of my great-grandparents would be going over to their house constantly during the weekends to swim in their pool and especially all getting together for Christmas and opening presents together in their living room. They had this old bell they would always let us ring when we came over and a lovely porch swing we loved to sit in and watch the cars go by on. miss you guys lots <3

Karl loved his family, traveling, and his pool that he and other neighbors developed 61 years ago. Karl loved to be back at the pool swimming laps, making repairs, and general maintenance to keep the pool in the best possible shape. He was a strong willed man who was determined to work in his yard until very late in life until Karl and Kathie decided it was time to move to smaller quarters.
