Not sure what to say?

I was so very saddened to hear of Karl's passing today. I often waited on Karl at the pharmacy in Jenison and am not exaggerating when I say he was my all time favorite customer. He was one of the kindest most pleasant people I've ever met and we were always happy to see him. Deepest sympathies and many prayers going up for his wife Jean and family. Your husband/father was one of a kind and will be dearly missed. -Wilma (Walgreens pharmacy)

I had the pleasure of working for Michcon for many years when Karl was in the Stock Department. He was someone who could always be depended on. Karl always had a smile on his face and was ready to help whoever he came in contact with. He lived his faith and will be spending eternity with the God he believes in.

Keith and Kris, we are very sorry for your loss. You both are in our hearts All our best

Dear Aunt Jean & all the rest of your family, We know how hard it is to say goodbye to Karl. Every time he saw us, he would greet Pete & I with a smile & a heartfelt "Hello". Every memory we have of Karl & you are blessed memories. Seems too soon to let him go, but we are looking forward to seeing him, as we all stand in our resurrected bodies before Christ, our Eternal Lord & King. Our love to all of you, Pete & Miriam Metros

Jean and Karl... when Karen, Keith, Karla and Karel were young always had a Saturday morning date. A time to give each other full attention and "stay on the same page" as a couple. This is one of many good habits that influenced many. As a young youth pastor I enjoyed time with their teens as they pastored me with our younger children. Their home was always open to many Sunday night DU´s "destination unknowns" Karl was always kind, gentle, sharing the joy and peace we have in Christ. I...

Karl was the nicest guy. You could not meet anyone like him. When I started going to GBC he would always take the Time to walk up to me, shake my hand, and say good morning. There is nothing like knowing that you are not just another person. That´s how Karl would make you feel. I love you Brother!

Uncle Karl is in my personal Hall of Fame for his kind and gentle spirit and his faithful service. My sincere condolences to his family. Blessings
