Karl M. Oberholser

Doing well in Professor Oberholser's Organic Chemistry course in 1978 was critical to my subsequent career in dietetics. His warmth, understanding, and support as I undertook this career change fully 14 years after any prior college chemistry has always impressed me as exceptional and memorable. As I read others' comments among those who knew him well, it fits perfectly with the character of the man whose loss you so acutely grieve. Fond memories of Uncle Karl, visiting Hershey park's chocolate factory and the tour we went on back in the day. Hanging out with family and cousins during the summertime catching fireflies..Our hearts hurt with you and we are praying for comfort and peace in your lives.
