Read MoreTo Karls friends and family, I was very sad to hear Karl went on a final sailing trip. He and I met in the early 70s on a yacht delivery to FL. One of his first trips, what an adventure, the man was larger than life and very courageous . He was older than me and helped me out tremendously. I wish now I tried to find him sooner. I was very sorry to hear about Karl's illness and passing. How good that I was able to see him awhile back at Sandra's brunch for the cousins. Having been around Karl more when I was a child, my memories center around times at the pool, and one time when he got our crazy dog under control with his dog training skills.
