Karl SAMUELSON

Just heard about Karl's passing and was so saddened. We often chatted on the bus to and from work, or walking home after a day at the office. My husband and I shared some great stories with Karl, and I will miss his great smile and the twinkle in his eye when a great story was coming from somewhere inside him. Our sincere and heartfelt condolences to Karl's wife and children. We will miss him from the neighbourhood.

Karl was a great man! He cared deeply about who he was involved with...I new him at Garden Terrace when I worked there. I enjoyed him as a person and his beliefs... he will truly be missed by the community he was so passionate about-people

I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to your Family. I had the Great Pleasure of meeting Mr. Samuelson in 2010 at a LTC Conference in Gander NL. We engaged in a short conversation after the presentation and I have never forgotten the words he spoke to me. It has made a great impact in my work and personal life. Thank you for those inspiring words.

I'm so sadden by Karl's death. I'm going to miss the yearly Christmas cards. He was a wonderful man. We were good friends when he was the administrator of the Sun Parlor Home, leamington. Mandy, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Yours. truly Nancy Paglione

Karl's passion for person centered care was evident in his words and actions. He took a genuine interest in each patient on our unit, and was a true leader in cultural change. He will be deeply missed by me and the staff of the Complex Continuing Care Unit at WDMH. Our hearts go out to Mandy, Claire, Alan, Keith and all his family & friends.
