Karl P. Scheer

HERSHEY - Karl P. Scheer, 85, of Hershey, passed away Aug. 4, 2008, at his home.

He was born Nov. 7, 1922, at Lexington to Otto and Frieda Scheer. On Aug. 28, 1969, Karl was united in marriage to Helen Roland at Ogallala. Karl farmed and ranched north of Hershey most of his life where he loved his family, home and his cattle.

Survivors include his wife, Helen; his son, David, both of Hershey; two sisters, Flora (Andy) Bolin of Grand Island and Clara (Bill) McCloud of Juniata; and other relatives.

Cremation was chosen. The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, at their home at 15321 W. North River Road for a time of remembering Karl.
